The Best Connection have an exciting opportunity for one of our clients based in the Chesterfield area

Our client, who provides temporary repair solutions up and down the country, are looking for a **CNC Lathe Setter** on a permanent basis. The role consists of Setting and operating CNC Lathes and machining to tight tolerances while working with metals. You will be operating and programming these machines so experience using CAD is required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has CNC experience who wants career progression opportunities. The company are looking to train individuals, if interested, to go out to location and assist in fitting finished products

**Responsibilities**
- Setting & operating CNC Machines
- Machining material to the required specification of the customer’s order.
- Identifying the materials with customer’s specific information.
- Always Adhering to all Health & Safety responsibilities.

**Requirements**:

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Co-operative & constructive manner.
- Performs well under time constraints and in a positive manner.
- Attentive to detail and assuring product is adhering to customer requirements.
- CAD experience required for issuing and making up of works orders.
- Previous CNC experience is a must.
- Fusion 360 CAD Experience would be advantageous
