Coster

Our client is a well-known and reputable HGV dealership with several depots across North West England and Wales. Currently they are looking for an experienced Coster / Vehicle Coster to join this successful business.

**Key Responsibilities for a Coster**:

- Invoicing and controlling depot work-in-progress (anything that is not invoiced in hours)
- Check system to ensure campaigns are completed and costed correctly
- Work within credit control policy and procedures
- Carry out, retail, repair & maintenance, and internal costing as per company standards
- Supply fully priced estimates of repairs required and ensure work is authorised where required
- Audit job cards, associated service documentation and customer defect procedures for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures
- Assist in achieving depot KPI’s in relation to efficiency, WIP targets, recovery rates and invoice lead time
- Achieve sold hours in line with current produced hours and set targets
- Resolve and assist in invoice queries and other administration duties when required
- Ensure all customer complaints are escalated to the Manager, ensuring quick resolution
- Maintain Dealer Operating Standards within department to a high standard
- Liaise with insurance companies for body shop repairs and authorisation
- Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies always
- Contacting customers and obtaining order numbers as required
- Demonstrable experience within a similar environment
- Autoline experience is essential
- Effective communication
- Strong IT skills

- Awareness and understanding of commercial vehicle service and parts operations and repairs
- The ability to organise work on own initiative and work under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills
