MPA Recruitment are working in partnership with the local health and social care trust to recruit a Band 3 Day care centre support worker for the Banbridge Area.
**Job Duties**
Assist in meeting the complex support needs of individual people with learning disabilities. This may include all aspects of intimate and personal care, assistance with eating and drinking.
To assist people with learning disabilities with a flexible transport service throughout the day.
Assist in the assessment, planning and implementation and record progress etc of individual and group packages of support designed to enhance and maximise the capabilities and independence of the individual.
To work as required throughout Day Support Services with people with learning disabilities within the Trust.
Ensure that all legislation, policies and procedures and strategies are appropriately implemented and adhered to at all times
**Qualifications / Experience Required**
1. Hold NVQ/QCF/VRQ/RCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
**OR**
4 GCSE’s (grades A-C) or equivalent/higher qualification including English Language and 1 years paid experience delivering direct care in a care environment[1]
**OR**
2 years paid experience delivering direct care in a care environment
2. Be willing to undertake and successfully complete within 1 year of appointment QCF Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
3. Must be NISCC registered or willing to apply.
**Hours of work**
Monday - Friday 9:30am-15:30pm
30 hrs per week

**Salary**: £11.11 per hour
