Consultant Haematologist

University Hospitals Sussex are delighted to offer the position of a full (or part) time Consultant Haematologist to work alongside our team of 5 Haematologists based at Worthing and St Richard's Hospitals. This position is based primarily in St Richards Hospital, Chichester in a beautiful part of West Sussex.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward looking colleague to work within our close knit team.

The Haematology department provides an extensive haemato-oncology practice (level 2b care), as well as general haematology incl. obstetrics, paediatrics, transfusion medicine and is a UKHCDO accredited Haemophilia Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to become involved in developing a clinically led, integrated Haematology Service within the wider trust along the South Coast (including the Haematology department at Royal Sussex County Hospital - Brighton) and offers the applicant the opportunity and encouragement to develop a chosen specialist interest. We offer flexible working, the potential for cross site working and have a 1 in 6 on-call rota.
