**POST**: ASSISTANT PASTOR

**JOB DESCRIPTION / DUTIES**:

- To assist the senior pastor in impacting the Elderly, Youth and the Children in the Parish positively.
- To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, particularly by developing preaching and teaching methods that inspire and promote spiritual growth.
- To teach and lead congregants in the way that will help them to clearly understand the tenets of faith of Church of God Mission International Dagenham.
- To provide pastoral leadership, mentoring and discipleship for all Youth and Children of the church.
- To maintain a healthy family relationship, strengthen self through personal devotions, prayers, Bible study etc.
- To assist the Senior Pastor and the other Pastors in the Parish with other ministerial duties.
- To assist in preparation and submitting weekly and monthly reports to the Zonal Headquarters.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- The post-holder Must be a Born-Again Christian who subscribes to the **Tenets of faith **of **Church of God Mission International Dagenham**.
- Must be a member of one of the branches of **Church of God Mission International Dagenham** in the United Kingdom.
- Must have been ordained in **Church of God Mission International **for ministerial duties with ORDINATION CERTIFICATE as proof.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality and trust.
- Ability to easily use Microsoft office.
