The role of Orthotics Assistant is to provide comprehensive administrative support for patients following by promoting an integrated pathway that is understood by all involved and meets the complex needs of these patients.

Reporting to managers for any identified gaps in the agreed pathway and database which will ensure patients receive quality care with maximum compliance across the pathway.

The post holder will always work with a high degree of discretion and initiative, respecting confidentiality of information.

The post holder will frequently be the first point of contact for key stakeholders and will develop excellent working relationships both internally and externally.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
