Barnet, United Kingdom North London Hospice Full time

North London Hospice is a registered charity that has been caring for local people since 1984. We help those with a potentially life-limiting illness who have specialist needs.

We welcome people from all faiths and communities within the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey and we provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to patients and families, friends and carers.
We have 17 charity shops across the North London boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey that sell pre-loved goods which helps our hospice, and the planet because we accept donations of unwanted clothing, furniture and household items (we recycle your pre-loved goods).

When we receive donations, or our customers buy these donated goods this provides an income to support end of life patient care and also helps to reduce the amount that goes into landfill.

OurVan Drivers collect donated goods by the public (such as large furniture items and other household goods).

OurVan Driversare integral to our retail business because they move goods around our hospice outlets to ensure we can maximise our sales which raises an income for our Charity

OurVan Driversalways provide excellent customer service and work within relevant hospice policies, ensuring the safety of associated colleagues, volunteers and members of the public.

The hospice prides itself on being able to provide our staff with more opportunity to deliver better qualify care by spending time with our patients. This has been greatly received by all our nursing and clinical teams making us an employer of choice in the North London area.
