We're Policy Expert, a home and motor insurance provider and we're on a mission to shake up the personal insurance industry. We feel that insurers have under-served customers for too long with confusing policies, expensive renewals and frustrating claims processes. It is time to put customers first

**About our Marketing team**

Join our marketing team as a UX/UI Designer and step into the forefront of crafting user experiences that blend seamless functionality with delightful interactions. Your creative vision will be pivotal in establishing our Design Centre of Excellence, where we shape platforms not just for scalability and resilience, but to evoke joy and satisfaction in every user.

**The role and what you'll be doing**
- Embark on insightful user research endeavours, utilising interviews, surveys, and hands-on usability testing via our advanced user testing platform. Your discoveries will shape the future of our products.
- Sketch out user journeys with precision, using wireframes and prototypes to outline product layouts and functionalities, ensuring each interaction is intuitive and smooth.
- Infuse designs with vibrancy and purpose, creating high-fidelity mock-ups and captivating visualisations that reflect our brand identity and elevate the overall user experience.
- Take the lead in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, addressing design challenges and bringing innovative solutions to fruition.
- Ensure our designs are adaptable across various devices and screen sizes, while championing accessibility principles to ensure inclusivity for all users.
- Develop and maintain design systems that foster consistency and coherence across all projects, guiding us through the dynamic landscape of product design.

**What we are looking for**
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or a related field or relevant career experience.
- Showcase your expertise through a compelling portfolio, demonstrating your proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and design tools.
- Command a deep understanding of design methodologies, enabling you to exceed user expectations and create exceptional experiences.
- Navigate design software with ease, including Figma, Sketch, InVision, and the Adobe Suite.

**Some nice to haves would be**:

- Familiarity with the Agile change methodology, allowing you to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptive environment.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development concepts, providing insight into the technical aspects of web design.
- Experience within Insurance/Financial Services/Regulated industries
