Are you an ambitious Lead Occupational Therapist looking for a new challenge with career development working with complex neurological conditions and brain injury?

The Oakleaf Group part of the Caretech Group, is a leading provider of specialist brain injury rehabilitation services for male and female adults. All Hallows is a 29 bedded unit for men and women based in the village of Ditchingham on the Suffolk/Norfolkborder. The centre supports individuals with complex healthcare needs associated with a neurological condition, including acquired brain injury.

The Role

The post holder will be expected to manage a caseload of clients with brain injury and in conjunction with other members of the multi professional Therapy Team, form comprehensive assessment of need and develop goal focused Occupational Therapy rehabilitationintervention plans. The post holder will be expected to provide direct Occupational Therapy intervention, as well as advice on issues related to Occupational Therapy, such as activities of daily living, manual handling, equipment and meaningful activity.
The successful applicant should have previous experience of working with people with neurological conditions is essential, specific brain injury rehabilitation would be an advantage. HCPC registration is essential.
The post will involve working as part of the Occupational Therapist service covering the rehabilitation services based at All Hallows, Suffolk.
Taking a “hands on” approach it is essential that you will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills. You must have excellent organisational and time management skills.

You must have a degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
Be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Experience in working with mental Health Needs
Have a licence and access to own transport.
Be a strong team player.
Have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
