Fire Door Carpenter

**CLC Group Ltd** is an established Property and Asset Maintenance Company with branches nationwide. We currently have a great opportunity for **Fire Door Carpenters to **join our team in **Brandon, Suffolk**

**Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following**:

- Installation of Fire Door Sets
- All aspects of fire door maintenance
- Working in a team and also independently when require
- Liaise with management team on a daily basis
- Carry out Fire door assessments and record findings

**Person specification**

**Qualifications**

Essential:

- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience

Desirable:

- CSCS Card

**Relevant experience**

Essential:

- Proven experience working as a Carpenter carrying out maintenance to fire doors and fitting fire doors
- Experience in working in the social housing/health/high street sector
- Trade background experience
- Knowledge/Awareness of Health and Safety on site

Essential:

- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to use own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to diagnose/problem solve

All site workers will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

A Full UK driving license is essential

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Hours**: You will work 39 hours each week, Monday to Friday.
