Radar Recruitment have been exclusively engaged by a specialist manufacturing business based in Gillingham, supporting them in their search for a Finance Business Partner. Reporting into the Group Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will be responsiblefor ensuring the flow of financial information between departments is accurate and influential. The company has a project-based commercial approach and through partnering activities and communication, this individual will have the opportunity to have a significantimpact on how successful and profitable contracts can be.

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing new project requests and assessing progress valuation by liaising with project managers.
- Uploading and analysing labour costs
- Maintain and control (and implement where deemed necessary) strong financial controls within the Group.
- Reconciliation of Group intercompany balances on a monthly basis.
- Assisting Group Finance Director with the preparation and consolidation of Group budgets.
- Assisting with the production and consolidation of monthly Group management accounts in accordance with the month-end timetable.
- Variance analysis and preparation of commentary to accompany monthly Group management accounts.
- Monitor and analyse financial information in respect of projects.
- Assist with the year-end audit process throughout the Group to ensure that it runs smoothly.
- Assist the Group Finance Director with the implementation of new accounting software.
- Business partnering with multiple departments

**Profile**:

- Qualified, soon to be or QBE all to be considered.
- Experience in a Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner/Finance Analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in management accounting, financial performance reporting and financial control in a Group environment.
- Strong communication skills, including ability to build relations across the Group.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to solve problems.
- Excellent Excel skills including use of pivot tables and complex formulae.
- Strong IT skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, confidence, good judgement showing logical decision making and a hands-on approach in a dynamic environment.
- Well organised with strength in prioritising.
