Quarry Weighbridge/sales

Reporting to: General Manager

Location of the role: Catwick

Employment Type: Full time, Temp to Permanent, 40 - 45 hours per week Monday to Friday, very occasional Saturdays

We are looking for a keen individual to join our small weighbridge and sales team. This is a full-time role, initially on temp to perm basis.

Enviro Aggregates is a family friendly company based in Catwick, a small village just outside Beverley. Our aim is to supply outstanding building aggregates that fuel the success of construction projects, while staying true to our values of sustainability and excellence.

Role Objectives:
Ensure the smooth running of the quarry and weighbridge under the guidance of a senior team.

Main Responsibilities:

- To operate and manage the weighbridge system for incoming and outgoing lorries
- Ensuring accurate weight of materials and maintain detailed records
- Inputting customer orders for processing
- To work with the finance team to produce and send out invoices
- To deal with incoming calls in a professional and pleasant manner, dealing with all customer queries to a satisfactory conclusion, within the set time scale, thus maintaining a high level of customer service, ensuring we are meeting our customers' expectations.
- Dealing with general administrative duties necessary to meet the demands of the office and answering and dealing with telephone calls.

Personal Requirements:

- Ability to operate digital weighbridge systems effectively
- Strong IT skills
- High levels of attention to details and accuracy across both manual and systems-based work
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong teamwork
- Great enthusiasm, and attitude for the role as well as a high level of resilience
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Pay and Benefits:

- Salary £30,000 plus, depending on skills and experience
- Additional monthly profit share payment of approx. £200
- 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays
