**Permanent position working for a globally known motorsportmanufacturer.**

A CNC setter, operator is required with knowledge of setting and running CNC milling machines on Fanuc controls. Working as part of a team running small batches of high-quality components with a strong attention to detail and the willingness to work shiftsand unsociable hours.

Due to ongoing CNC expansion this client based in Maidenhead requires a confident, leading CNC miller setter/operator on a permanent basis. As a CNC setter, you will be required to:

- Program edit to retain size and tolerance and programme test new items when necessary.
- Utilize manual measurement tools.
- Understand engineering drawings.
- Load and unload components from machinery
- Tool set.
- Set and operate milling machines to required tolerances.
- Actively offer information on programme corrections or improvements that will enhance machining performance.
- Use Fanuc controlled machines.
- Follow the business TPM Schedule, by maintaining a clean work area and perform machine maintenance both during and after shift.
- Keep track of current processes in the machine logbook, noting any problems for the next shift.
- Adhering to daily task lists and the output timetable set by team leaders.
- Comply with all policies, manuals, objectives, processes, procedures, and work instructions pertaining to quality, health and safety, and the environment.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and be responsible for alerting Health and Safety when replacements are required.
- When necessary, aid and assist other members in the milling cell.

The CNC Programmer/Setter should have the following skills or experience:

- Relevant production experience.
- Proven ability to set and operate CNC Milling machines.
- Able to work irregular hours and shifts.
- Required to put in additional hours as and when needed by the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with experience of setting and operating a Matsuura 3/4/5 axis milling machines or similar and knowledge of Fanuc programme editing. In return for your experience, this Maidenhead, Berkshire based machining companywill offer you:
