SF Recruitment are pleased to be working with a multinational manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Wolverhampton in their search for a Tax Accountant. This role will report into the European Tax Manager supporting them on delivering accuratetax compliance filings with a focus on indirect tax. This role would suit someone with either a background in a Financial Accounting role where they have had exposure to the balance sheet and VAT or someone who has finance experience and a keen drive to specialisein Tax moving forward.

This role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office) as well as an excellent benefits package and study support towards your professional qualification. Although much of the role can be trained, previous experience in a Tax Accountant role will be lookedupon favourably.

**Role**:

- Provide accurate data to external service providers on a timely basis and resolve any queries so that returns can be submitted on time and in full
- Payment of taxes to tax authorities
- Timely and effective implementation of new and existing legislation
- Prepare tax returns
- Reconcile general ledger tax accounts
- Monitor taxation dashboard
- Provide ad-hoc tax advice to business

**Requirements**:

- Part Qualified ACCA/ACA or tax qualification
- Experience with UK and EURO VAT highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong double entry bookkeeping knowledge
