Our client has the opportunity for a **Credit Controller** to join their professional team on a **12-month fixed term contract**. The position requires someone with experience in liaising with customers to collect outstanding debt in a timely and effective manner.

This is a site-based position in **Ross-on-Wye**. Possibility of a hybrid role once established in role and any training completed.

**Role purpose**:
To ensure that all overdue customer debt is identified and collected whilst ensuring that internal and external customer satisfaction is maintained.

**Key tasks**:

- To make initial contact with all customers to remind them of overdue payment and to monitor progress and outcomes.
- Mailing of automatically printed Interim Payment Overdue letters.
- Responding to any incoming queries about overdue balances.
- Liaising with internal teams on a regular basis to ensure amendments can be made where necessary.
- To produce a monthly report and update to the relevant departments.

**Essential requirements**
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Excellent IT and administrative skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
