Procurement Controller

An exciting 12 month FTC
**Your new company**As a result of reorganisation within the procurement team, the client is looking for a Document Controller to enhance capability.
**Your new role**:
- For all suppliers maintain a report recording basic status, contact and regulatory data.
- For suppliers deemed high-risk this will require additionally:
- Obtain from suppliers the due diligence data required
- Provide reporting processes for the business Manage the Supplier on boarding process when approved
- Coordinate document verification, auditing all data returns for false positives
- Develop a monitoring process and raise any non-conformance identified
- Create and maintain a share-point file for each high-risk supplier
- Lead on quarterly compliance actions to ensure thorough supplier due diligence has been performed
- Lead on the training and use of supplier database to establish and monitor higher risk suppliers support in additional ad-hoc compliance requests related to Procurement, including but not limited to Modern Slavery, Sustainability and GDPR
- Update supplier data base and ensure all compliance is within date
**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Exposure to supply chain management and / or procurement operation
- A background and experience in supplier approval documentation and the due diligence process
- Exposure to management information systems
- Proven relationship (and stakeholder) management skills Good data analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent organisational skills Proven ability to work as part of an effective team Ability to work at pace and delivery to agreed timescales
- Aptitude for coaching, training and empowering others outside of the department
- Experience in supporting transformational change or continuous improvement initiatives.
