We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated apprentice to work within our busy Housing Team, based within Humankind's head office at Bowburn, County Durham which includes a number of our key functions and County Durham services.
- You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge whilst working within a fast paced and supportive environment.
- Duties and learning opportunities which are part of this role include:

- To provide effective housing reception phone cover, including managing and directing incoming calls, taking, and directing messages, managing deliveries, directing people to meetings, ensuring sign in and general queries.
- Manage and respond to inbound queries from a range of internal and external sources through phone enquiries and organisational e mail inboxes.
- Managing post and deliveries. Sort and distribute incoming post. Frank and record outgoing post, including special delivery.

As the role requires you to engage with study you must be willing to undertake a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship with a local college. This will include achieving a Level 2 in functional skills (Maths & English) as part of your apprenticeship. A basic understanding of IT would be useful too as you will be using a laptop to help you carry out your job.
