Domestic Supervisor

Our client, a National Facilities Management Organisation are currently on the search for a **Domestic Supervisor** to support the provision of the contracted FM services to the Healthcare site based in Bodmin, Cornwall.
Key Job requirements of the Domestic Supervisor:
The post holder will oversee, in conjunction with the department manager, the delivered services for the function.They will be expected to effectively supervise the departmental team and support the departmental manager in their duties to ensure contractual,statutory and QMS compliance for the facilities management services and to ensure that the services are delivered within budgetary requirements and profitability improved year on year.
Key responsibilities of the Domestic Supervisor:
- Supervision of the Domestic team.
- Delivery of Toolbox Talks as required.
- Supervision and implementation of staff rota's and payroll reporting.
- Carry out cleaning - both general and equipment, as instructed via schedules.
- Undertake training deemed relevant to the position.
- Ensure 15 minute handover regime in place and adhered to.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure all external access ways are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Carry out regular performance reviews of team implementing development/corrective plans as required.
- Role model company values at all times.
- Complete work in accordance with schedules and instructions, and in line with service agreements.
- Stock taking, where appropriate, and keeping records of stock levels as required.
- To observe excellent personal hygiene and appearance, including uniform, presenting a professional appearance at all times.
Key requirements of the Domestic Supervisor:
- Level 2 food hygiene & NVQ level 2 cleaning or equivalent
- IOSH Managing safely
- Experience min 1 - 3 years within a similar role and work environment
- Familiar with service level agreements.
- Experience of working to a set menu and within set costs per head
- Able to use Microsoft packages
- Ability to lead and and manage people
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning, management and processes/procedures
- Proactive, well organised and passionate about making a difference
In return our client is offering a salary of £26,000.00 per annum with 25 days + Bank holidays
Your will be required to work 5 days out of 7 (some weekends required)
