Procurement Administrator

We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join our clients as a procurement administrator on a temp to perm basis.
This is a full time role based in Wollaston paying between £23,000.00 and £28,000.00 per annum, working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm with on site parking and excellent facilities.
The purpose of the Procurement Operations Analyst is to provide the day-to-day execution of the buying processes and systems and operational delivery, with a view to ensuring RTO demonstrates buying excellence by performing the key duties and responsibilities (below).
The Procurement Operations Analyst is accountable for the functional buying of material and services within the UK (this scope may be expanded with time to include other geographical locations) and will be assigned project activities to meet business needs and any committed Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets and projects.
This role requires collaboration and engagement within the wider business Procurement community (globally) and across other RTP (Requisition to Pay) communities i.e., Finance, Warehousing and Logistics etc.
The key roles and resposibilites are;
Provide comprehensive support to the business across a wide range of operational/ transactional purchasing tasks, working in collaboration with business functions
- First point of contact for internal/ external stakeholders
- System support - provide stakeholder support with Procurement systems e.g. requisition creation
- Supplier data management to include collation of data, new vendor requests and modifications
- PO placement and ongoing management of PO's, supporting the P2P process
- Expedite POs to ensure delivery on time and in full
- Proactive fault-finding analysis among internal and external stakeholders with assistance in resolutions
- Management of new and existing supplier data across procurement systems
- Reporting as directed and agreed with the Procurement Operations Manager
- Undertake training to allow full ownership
- Drive efficiencies and identify improvement opportunities
- Provide support in the development, testing and implementation of Procurement business systems
- Resolve all invoice queries to prevent delays to supply chain and payment
- Support with RFx process
- Analyse, interpret and summarise operational KPIs with improvement suggestions
- Maintain appropriate electronic and paper-based filing systems
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
