Are you passionate about how planning and operational excellence are achieved?

We are looking for an experienced Resource Planner to contribute towards the ongoing development of the business. In this role you will be responsible for managing relationships ensuring support to the Management team to plan a steady stream of work ranging from weeks to months in advance for all our engineers.

What you'll be doing
- The role will be to plan our engineers’ workloads, focusing on locations, skill sets and timescales
- Communication and collaboration are key within this role
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Help to build capacity plans and maintain them, ensuring accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation across the business
- Manage multiple workloads
- Effectively plan and optimize the staffing resources across our operational areas
- Provide consistent communication to the key stakeholders
- Interact with customers, agreeing dates and timeframes of planned works
- Analyse, interpret, monitor and report service trends and adherence to make recommendations to ensure an optimized approach to operational planning, while accommodating changing customer behaviours
- Accountable for the accuracy of information within our internal systems
- Challenge where appropriate the Operational Areas, ensuring accountability for ensuring that performance isn’t impacted by poor lead times etc
- Understand the business, the types of customer demand and help translate these into meaningful resource plans

What we're looking for
- PC skills - use of excel, power point, word.
- Communication - Effective, concise and professional communication and presentation skills
- Customer Focus - Ensure that the customer journeys are understood and options are provided to the senior management team to continually enhance the customer experience
- Attention to Detail - Focused on getting it right first time
- Problem solving, both in the ability to resolve issues quickly but to provide clear options/information to enable others to make decisions

**Salary**: £26,420.00-£30,500.00 per year
