**About Our Client**:
A community hospice working throughout the London Borough of Hillingdon. They provide services for people at the end of their lives, offer support to families with bereavement and loss, and support carers in the community of Hillingdon. These services include Hospice At Home, respite care, wellbeing, counselling and both children's and adult bereavement services
- Implement the Community and Events plan that supports the Fundraising Strategy which includes raising income from challenge events, individual fundraisers, internal and external events and community groups.
- Research community groups, schools, religious organisations, sports clubs and social clubs to identify potential new donors and develop tailor-made approaches to establish meaningful engagement.
- Investigate innovative and creative initiatives and opportunities for new and existing sources of income currently not maximised by the charity.
- Work with the communications team to develop and implemented effective communications and approaches to engage existing and new supporters.
- In liaison with your co-worker, manage the income and expenditure budgets for community fundraising and events and assist in monthly reporting and forecasting.
- Engage with the community by giving talks and presentations to community organisations to share the impact of the charity's work on patients and family members and encourage ongoing support and donations.
- Provide support to community organisations and individual fundraisers and develop materials that will enhance their fundraising activities.
- Develop and implement a range of community activities to promote awareness of the charity.
- In liaison with your co-worker, develop and implement a volunteer programme which aims to recruit, train and retain volunteers to assist with community fundraising activities and events.
- Work with the fundraising and communications teams to develop and implement effective supporter journeys using the existing CRM (Donorfy).
- Ensure that all activities undertaken are in line with the Fundraising Regulator and other relevant regulations.

**The Successful Applicant**:
The successful Community Fundraiser will have the following experience;
- community and / or events experience
- financial management
- research skills
