**Post Title**: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology.**SBU/Department**: School of Life & Medical Sciences/Clinical, Pharmaceutical and Biological Science**FTE**: 1 FTE (working 37 hours per week) at Lecturer level. SL applicants will be considered on a PT basis for these positions at a pro-rata salary commensurate with the appointment**Duration of Contract**: Permanent**Salary**: UH7 £37,099 to £44,263 pa (Lecturer) or UH8 £44,263 to £56,021 (Senior Lecturer) pro rata by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience**Annual Leave**: 35 days (pro rata if part time) plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days- including the University closure between Christmas and New Year**Location**: College Lane Campus, Hatfield- We are seeking to appoint an individual to help expand our Pharmacology team and contribute to the ongoing development of our portfolio of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level within the Department of Clinical, Pharmaceutical, and Biological Sciences.- The Pharmacology team is an integral part of the School of Life and Medical Sciences, and we teach across several important programmes including the BSc (Hons) Pharmacology degree, the MPharm degree, as well as contributing to several other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We are active in research, consultancy, and training and we were a valuable contributor towards our School’s successful 2021 REF submission. Our BSc Pharmacology degree is a popular degree within our School and is amongst the top NSS scoring degrees in this category (100% overall satisfaction, NSS 2022).-

- To develop and deliver existing undergraduate and postgraduate modules on degree programmes within the School of Life and Medical Sciences. Contribute towards the development of new programmes such as Medicine and MSc Neuroscience. You will also be required to engage in other forms of scholarly activity depending upon your interests that could include conducting research in an area conducive to our School’s research interests, focusing upon pedagogic research and curriculum development, or involvement in commercial activities for the School.**Skills and experience required**Qualifications required**-
