We are looking for a Site Maintenance Apprentice to join our busy Engineering team at our site in Chesterfield.
**The opportunity**:
You will work within a friendly and experienced team carrying out all aspects of site maintenance. Some key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and assisting with all aspects of site maintenance activities
- Support in resolving equipment faults - Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Joinery/Plumbing
- Improve site standards - painting, general building works, improving aesthetics
- Carry out equipment servicing - Dock Levellers and Bay Doors
- Support other Site Engineers across Retail Distribution network
- Adhering and working to Company safety protocols
- 5 GCSE’s including a C/4 in Maths and English
- Problem solving skills
- The drive and passion for continual learning whilst gaining on-the-job experience
**Where will you study?**
We have partnered with local colleges to deliver the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard (MOET). Following successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will become a qualified Site Engineer with the opportunity to progress and develop your career in a business that values talent; develops people to fulfil their full potential; has clear career paths and succession pipelines.
