An opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Facilitator with a commitment to supporting the Trust make continued progress against regulatory frameworks. The post is a fixed term contract for 6 months to provide maternity cover. It offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience within an important area of work.

Working as part of the team, you will act to support internal teams and liaise with external stakeholders around visits to the organisation.

You will need excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to respond positively to a rapidly changing environment. You will be instrumental in supporting provide a visible and highly effective compliance team service.

The successful applicant will be capable of managing their own workload, effectively liaising with staff from all areas of the Trust to obtain information and assurance to support the Trust demonstrate continued compliance against the regulatory framework. Analysis of information and ability to report this are key components of this role. You will be kind, caring, and articulate and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of MS Office and a high level of written correspondence and reports experience is essential, as is a dedicated and flexible approach to team working.

The Compliance Facilitator will assist with the development and oversight of information from quality assurance systems to test out compliance against key indicators. The post holder will evaluate and make sense of data and work with operational colleagues to understand the action being taken in response and gauge progress over time, ensuring effective communication and reporting of progress over time.

The post holder will proactively oversee the external agencies visit process and ensure comprehensive plans are in place for external visits. This will also involve ongoing collaborative working to understand actions in response to recommendations for improvement to ensure the Trust proactively focusses on compliance with key quality and regulatory measures.

The post holder will be able to work both autonomously and as part of the team maintaining the professional standards expected.

The post holder will be expected to be able to work in an effective and professional manner, managing their own workload within agreed timescales.

Assist in the development of quality assurance systems derived from monitoring processes of Trust activity and performance against local and national guidelines and policies of the Trust, by means of local inspections, visits, scrutiny of assurance data where information already exists or the development of surveys and audits to obtain data for this purpose. Participate in these programmes designed to test compliance. Assist in the scrutiny of compliance at CBU and divisional level.

Contributing to Care Quality Commission (CQC) readiness across the organisation by supporting the Head of Compliance analyse, triangulate and report on outcomes from quality assurance systems and identify evidence of compliance and seek assurance that this is becoming embedded into routine practice.

Working with the Head of Compliance, ensure that external agency visits (including CQC) that require support from the central Compliance team have a comprehensive plan in place and take an active lead role in seeking out necessary evidence from within the organisation of compliance, building strong networks with a wide range of stakeholders, and submitting this in line with tight deadlines, and in line with appropriate data security principles. Maintain comprehensive records to register evidence provided.

Assist in the development and implementation of systems to assess the quality of data and evidence, checking for accuracy of data entered and ensuring completeness prior to submission.
