**About the role**:
Oakridge School is on an exciting journey. Having recently moved from an Ofsted judgement of ‘Requires Improvement’ to a judgement of ‘Good’ with an ‘Outstanding’ Early Years we continue to be ambitious and forward-looking to continually enhance the life chances of all children at Oakridge.

Working as part of a team, you will need to demonstrate excellent initiative and a strong willingness to interact with the pupils, teachers and parents. The ability to demonstrate a natural affinity and empathy with children is essential.

You will be working with one of our children in Nursery and Reception. All our Early Years SEN children are wonderful, lovely children that will make your role incredibly fulfilling. You will be supporting them in their environment, by aiding the development of their social, personal, physical, communication and language skills as well as ensuring the interventions on their Support Plans are carried out. You will be working in our Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Early Years Team and will be well supported and line managed by our experienced Special Needs Coordinator. You really will find it one of the most rewarding roles you do.
