Onboarding Executive

We are an exciting Fintech on a mission to make payment acceptance as easy as possible for businesses all over the UK. We are an independent payments advisor offering guidance on all types of business payment solutions. Our ethos is focused on the merchant and the provision of the best payment solutions according to the business and industry type they operate in. We are independent and work with a wide range of payment service providers and acquiring partners, enabling us to offer a wide range of payment solutions across all sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Close sales and sign-up SME’s through a tenacious market penetration approach.
- Cultivate and leverage long term relationships with SME merchant owners/decision-makers.
- Actively collect feedback from onboarded merchants and collaborate with the Executive Team to improve our messaging, proposition and client experience
- Look for and execute sales opportunities to achieve targets in the territory.
- Be our brand ambassador creating awareness of our business proposition in the merchant services community.
- To identify viable partnership opportunities.
- To research new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, partnerships and services, and to find new ways of reaching existing markets or customers.
- To work collaboratively with potential customers and partner organisations to establish Novus Pay as a strong presence in the payment industry.
- To produce quality documentation in accordance with business development standards.
- To report to senior management on the quality, progress and outcomes business development opportunities.
- To undertake other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to demonstrate a track record of successful B2B SME field sales.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of direct B2B SME sales experience.
- Confident relationship builder
- Tenacious and resourceful in sales approach
- Highly articulate, able to present and communicate complex concepts in simple English.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for results.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and punctual.
- Relevant retail sales/POS experience or a network is an advantage.
