**Process Engineer - Thin Film Devices**

Belgium - Hybrid working

12-month contract

Start Date: ASAP

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow-up of process runs under the supervision of the responsible project leader or scientist.
- Suggest and deliver improvements to the process.
- Deposition of thin films from solution and vacuum, using in particular tools like spin-coating, physical or chemical vapor deposition and atomic-layer deposition.
- Photolithographic patterning of the deposited layers.
- Physical and optical characterization of the deposited layers and realized devices.
- Regular reporting in a consistent and rigorous way.

To be considered for this role, you will need to following:

- You have a Masters' degree or higher in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, material engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with processing of thin film layers and their analysis - optical, microscopical and morphological.
- Experience with analysis of opto-electronic devices.
- Experience with Matlab, python or excel macro is a plus.
