Counter Salesperson

We need a reliable hard working person to join our team of sales staff.

Required to work on a trade counter, serving customers and answering the phone

Advising on product suitability, a good knowledge of power tools and similar products would Be a good advantage, certainly a good knowledge of DIY and or similar trades is needed.

Some heavy lifting is involved with the job. Safety workwear are supplied after a short period.

You would need to keep your work are tidy be able to work as part of a team and be able To work on your own as and when needed without supervision, a friendly and smart appearance with a good telephone manner is needed as this is a full customer facing role. The job involves checking goods in, pricing and putting stock away as and when required All invoicing is done via computer, so a good level of PC ability is required, every alternate Saturday morning working is required for which overtime is paid.
