Our client, a reputable **Essex-based** National NSI Gold and BAFE accredited **Fire and Security Installer,** is seeking a **Small Works Supervisor **for a unique **office-based role.**

As the **Small Works Supervisor**, you'll be responsible for assessing the incoming enquiries, identifying, and recognising which department to pass jobs to, troubleshooting, liaising with engineers and contractors, reviewing quotes and engineers job notes and much more.

With a **hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home,** this role **offers a fantastic work-life balance.**

This role **has to be filled by someone who has worked out in the field previously** installing or maintaining **CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL, FIRE ALARMS, INTRUDER ALARMS** systems, the **f**amiliarity of the types of jobs and enquiries coming in is paramount.**

Despite being an **office-based/hybrid role**, a company car is included as a benefit in kind and attracts a notable salary of up to £45k

This role would suit a **FIELD BASED FIRE & SECURITY ENGINEER** who would like to **come out of the field and work in an office environment, **this has to really appeal to you for this to work - perhaps you are sick of getting stuck in traffic all the time returning from jobs, or you have children at home and you just want to be at home more

As the Small Works Supervisor, you will be the leader of a team of four, including yourself. There is

support available from senior members of staff across other departments which interlink with the Small Works department. You will share your workload with your four colleagues, but ultimately you will be responsible for distributing tasks as well as ensuring tasks assigned are completed to which reporting to your manager on a weekly basis is required.

**To give you an idea of your day-to-day responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the smooth running of the Small Works department.
- Make decisions on whether sales opportunities should sit with the Small Works department or be passed over to the Projects Team to quote.
- Review recommendations from fire risk assessments and take actions to ensure that each opportunity is passed to the correct department to action.
- Technical and logístical support to team members.
- Assisting customers and managing their expectations.
- Updating spreadsheets and internal systems.
- Scheduling work to engineers & sub-contractors.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure fluidity throughout the business.
- Reporting to management monthly.
- Responsible for the management of holidays, sickness absence, performance, and probationary reviews for your team.
