**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join us in the role of Policy and ER Consultant.

In this role, you will analyse consultation responses, prepare and present formal committee papers, policy and guidance to a high standard, and work closely with others to effectively communicate and embed outcomes. You will also be closely involved in building a positive employment relations infrastructure.

This diverse position will also assist with employment relations matters, including formal and informal meetings with trade unions, supporting the University's response to industrial action, and employment relations queries.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will need:

- An exceptional standard of written (and spoken) English, with experience of writing policy, reports and web material to a high standard for publication;
- A degree level education or an equivalent level of experience in a policy role, or a generalist HR role which includes policy work.

You will be professional, collaborative and discreet in your communication with others and sensitive to the needs of stakeholder groups.

**About Us**:
This permanent position is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team at one of the foremost global Universities, in a role that has real impact.

In return, the University offers an extensive reward package including:

- A generous annual leave entitlement and pension scheme;
- CAMbens Employee Benefits, which provides access to a range of financial benefits such as national and local shopping discounts;
- Health and wellbeing benefits including the University Counselling Service, and access to the virtual Wellbeing Centre providing tools to support your physical and mental wellbeing;
