Accounting Technician

With recent experience gained in an accountancy practice, the Accounting Technician will be joining a friendly, highly successful team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking work on a varied portfolio of clients, with the opportunity to undertake accounting and taxation. Responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking accounts preparation for a variety of clients across multiple industries.
- Bookkeeping, management accounting and VAT returns.
- Personal and corporate tax returns.
- Filing Companies House and HMRC documents.
- Participating in audit assignments in the local area.
- Liaising with clients and resolving client queries.
- Assisting the management team as needed.

**About You**:
We are keen to hear from individuals with recent experience of accounts preparation gained in practice, you may be AAT Level 3 or AAT qualified or qualified by experience.

You will be a clear communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and colleagues. You will be a self-starter with a proactive approach and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.

**Salary**: £22,000 - £28,000pa depending on experience.
