**About the role**

Hyde Group Ltd are seeking an experienced TWE Co-ordinator for involvement in the Early Contractor Involvement phase of a major project to install equipment at Sellafield. The nature of the equipment to be installed together with the access to the building has highlighted the need for temporary works equipment to ensure a safe and controlled method of lifting, handling and movement of the equipment. The equipment will be manufactured and tested using ‘dummy equipment ‘prior to use onsite to ensure its suitability.

As the TW Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the specification, design, approval, checking, installation, maintenance, and removal of all necessary temporary works. You will identify and record all Temporary Works on the Temporary Works Control Register, and assess the risk level of each TW. You will also prepare Design Briefs in consultation with relevant parties, ensuring they are adequate and in line with the site requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the TW design process, ensure the Safe System of Work is communicated and understood, and conduct inspections during construction to ensure adequacy of materials and compliance with design specifications. Your role will also involve verifying the competence of individuals involved in bespoke fabrication of temporary works. You will manage and co-ordinate the testing and trials onsite in our Manchester facilities where applicable.

Phase 1 duration approximately 12 months

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and coordinate the specification, design, approval, checking, installation, maintenance, and removal of all necessary temporary works (TW).
- Record all TW on the TW Control Register and assess the risk level of each TW.
- Prepare Design Briefs in consultation with relevant parties, ensuring adequacy and compliance.
- Oversee TW design and ensure design checks are carried out.
- Provide full details of the design, including any limitations or constraints, to those responsible for erection.
- Communicate the Safe System of Work to all involved parties and ensure understanding.
- Conduct inspections during construction to ensure adequacy of materials and compliance.
- Verify the competence of individuals involved in bespoke fabrication of temporary works.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proven track record in the nuclear industry Projects
- Significant experience in temporary works coordination is essential
- Understanding of Sellafield site procedures would be an advantage
- Good management skills, with the ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance.
- Ability to work with colleagues to deliver project and operational performance.
- Sound knowledge of construction practices and standards.
- The TWE Co-ordinator will be required attend regular programme updates with HGL and the client at their Warrington site.
- Be able to travel to the manufacturing sites in Wolverhampton / Manchester
- Must hold a UK driving licence
