**Duties**
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns
- Manage donor database and track donations
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and sponsors
- Collaborate with the trustees to implement and promote fundraising initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising efforts
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the scheme
- Research suitable funding streams for proposal and approval by the board of trustees

**Skills**
- Strong software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with donors and sponsors
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and best practices
- Ability to effectively market fundraising initiatives to a diverse audience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating compelling fundraising materials and interacting with donors
- Experience in fundraising, public relations or relationship management would be beneficial but not essential
