Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Prestwich

Supporting across a whole Year 2 Class as a Teaching Assistant.

Milk Education are working with a primary school in Prestwich to assist them with employing a full time Year 2 General Teaching Assistant to support across the whole classroom. This role is to start in January 2023 and will continue until the Summer.

The working hours will be 08:30am-15:30pm with a half an hour lunch break and it is full time Monday to Friday. The ideal person will have a calm and nurturing classroom presence whilst also boasting strong behaviour management and be able to build up positive,trusting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working on a whole class basis in year 2 supporting the learning and development of every child
- To possess strong behaviour management with a calm and nurturing presence
- To be happy to commit to this role full time providing continuity for the children
- Be available to start immediately and will continue until July 2023

Required Skills & Experience:

- Previous experience of working in a school, nursery or childcare/ education setting
- Ideally hold a relevant level 2 or level 3 Child Care teaching assistant qualification (Not a requirement)
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- UK Primary/ SEND School or British International School experience within the last two years
