**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
Currently on shift you would always be accompanied by 2 other members of staff, our service leader will also be in the service around once or twice a week.
We are looking at different shift patterns to suit the person we supports needs this means there is the option to work earlies, late or mid shifts. We can be very flexible with shift patterns to have a brilliant work life balance.
The person that we support will need a core support team of staff to help her settle into her new home after spending a long period of time in hospital, we will require you to build strong trusting relationships with the person we support to help ease any anxieties she has surrounding her new environment.
We are recruiting for female advanced support workers, that are passionate, patient & understanding.
There are no limitations to our Advanced Support Worker position. see below some activities that you could get upto whilst 'on shift':
- Days out, especially using public transport
- Listening to music
- Supporting to achieve the lady we supports aspirations of working in social care
- Maintain relationships to ensure the lady we support lives her best life possible.
