Gardener (Horticulturist)

We are looking for a gardener/horticulturist to join our team to assist on regular garden and grounds maintenance work, seasonal pruning/trimming of hedges and shrubs. The experienced gardener should be able to work as part of a team on larger projects, whilst also being able to work on their own on various different maintenance tasks.

Applicant requirements
- Applicants must have at least 3 years experience in horticulture or soft landscaping.
- Minimum of an RHS Level 2/3 or similar qualification OR a proven record of maintaining grounds to a high standard.
- PA1/PA6 qualification would be an advantage.
- Must be experienced in the use of petrol machinery such as ride on mowers, hedge-cutters and strimmers.
- Have proven practical gardening/horticulture experience, as well as a strong knowledge of plants

- Positive attitude towards whilst undertaking various roles.
- Polite and considerate to a range of clients.
- Need to be hard working in all weather conditions

Company uniform, PPE and tools will be provided. With a company van for travel to and from gardens and estates.

Further training can also be provided in Horticulture.

This role is for a full time position, with both self-employed and employed offered. 28 days holiday pay for both employment status.

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus
