**Housekeeping Supervisor | The Montefiore| Hove | Permanent | Full time**

Spire The Montefiore Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their friendly and dedicated Team on a permanent basis.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Managing the Team and reporting to the Housekeeping Manager
- Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed and both offices and public areas are clean
- To work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospital
- Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH.
- Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.

**Who we are looking for**
- Whilst no formal qualifications are required, you must be able to communicate with other members of staff and patients clearly and your personal appearance must be of a high standard, expected in a professional healthcare environment.
- Experience of working in a similar role, in a customer facing environment
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with all customers
- Able to work as part of a team
- Ability to work on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work
- Maintains high standards
- Ability to work evenings and possibly some weekends
