Through research and collaboration with key stakeholders, including representatives across national health services, policy makers and academic institutions, the Unit develops resources healthcare staff can use to improve antimicrobial stewardship in their practices.

The Unit also collaborates with teachers, educational providers, and the public to raise awareness of issues like antimicrobial resistance, respiratory and hand hygiene, and ways to prevent common infections.
