CV Life are looking to recruit Community Activators to join our successful Community Team to deliver sports, exercise, and a range of other engaging activities. Seeking to improve the health, well-being, physical activity of people across Coventry as well as looking to remove barriers to participation and social isolation within target groups.
The successful applicant will be required to work mainly weekdays, however a flexible attitude to shift work is essential as weekends, early mornings and evenings will be required from time to time.
A level 2 sport or health qualification would be desirable. With the opportunity to move through our pathway to enhance your professional development.

This is a temporary contract for two years due to external funding. Other opportunities in CV Life enable you to create career in sport and leisure.

**Scope**
Coventry Sports Foundation and Culture Coventry Trust are operating as CV Life, so that the scope of this Job Description as a CV Life document extends to cover the employment of employment contracts held with either Coventry Sports Foundation or Culture Coventry Trust.
**Overall purpose and objective of the role**:
The purpose of this position is to provide support in the delivery of the CV Life Community Engagement and Outreach Programme across Coventry. Focusing on improving the health, wellbeing, physical activity levels, access and oppoutunies for all community members to access regular activities.
**Main Duties of the Role**
- To deliver a range of activities and initiatives as part of the CV Life Community Delivery Programmes.
- To provide information on the safe use of all equipment and activities being delivered.
- To assist in promoting and publicising the work and activities of the Community Development Team particularly to target groups of the company and programmes.
- To deliver sessions at CV Life Sites and wider community venues as required.
- To erect and dismantle equipment as required for sessions.
- To collate monitoring, evaluation insight and feedback information and report back to the programme lead.
- To ensure all activities being delivered are fully inclusive for users’ groups of all ages and abilities.
- To attend training/refresher courses as are appropriate to maintain qualifications and standards of good practice.
- To ensure the adequate standards of Health and Safety are maintained at all times.
- To ensure all equipment being used in the delivery of sessions or activities is always safe for use and defected equipment not used and reported to manager.
- To be aware and able to respond to all emergency situations in accordance with the procedures detailed in the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
