We have now launched our full time Alternative Provisions to support schools with young people that are struggling in the classroom environment or mainstream education.

**The Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for multiple instructors to join our full-time outdoor Alternative Provisions based at Larkbeare Brake, near Escot Park and Ashcombe, both in Devon.

Working directly with young people in group settings of 1:4. your role will be to deliver outdoor activities designed to engage and develop young people who are struggling with mainstream education. Your aim will be to support, inspire and help them regain self-confidence, motivation and skills for them to re-engage positively in the classroom and raise their own behaviour standards.

Our activities are designed to be fun and engaging, but your personality will be vital to both control and engage the students. You will be instructing a range of activities focussed on leadership, team work, communications, health & wellbeing and life skills. Many are in line with core curriculum, i.e. mathematics, English and science.

**What kind of person are we looking for?**
- Previous experience in education, dealing with SEN or a military background is really desirable but not essential
- A desire to work with, support and motivate young people
- A good level of fitness
- Motivated, an absolute team player, and hard-working with a can-do attitude
- Represents the company with a high level of pride

**Essential Criteria**:

- Held a valid driving licence for at least 1 year
- **Have no more than 6 points** on your driving license (**No DR, DG, IN, MS or TT related endorsements**)
- Pass a criminal background check
- Proof of Right to Work
- 25 or over due to vehicle insurance purposes
- 2 references, one previous employer and one that works in (or be retired from) a recognised profession

**Salary**: £26,000.00 per year
