CPL is a leading provider of quality downhole Cable Protection Systems to the oil and gas sector; we are a successful and growing company.

We are currently looking to fill the following vacancy on a full-time, permanent basis.

**Storeman/Yardman** - The role involves working alongside existing personnel to ensure the effective management of materials and supplies in a manner that effectively supports the production process. Duties and responsibilities are likely to include:

- Arrange the safe storage of goods on site.
- Keep the yard and warehouse tidy and organised.
- Receive and check incoming goods.
- Arrange storage for all received and ready for despatch goods.
- Load out-going and off-load incoming goods using a forklift truck.
- Assist with the issue of materials and supplies to the shop floor.
- Prepare consignment notes for sub-contract materials and services.
- Order and manage the distribution of consumables.
- Monitor the usage of tools and consumables to ensure an efficient use of resources.
- Maintain control of Customer owned goods.
- Book sub-contract services when required.
- Control and take care of stock including Customer owned goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records including batch numbers and stock locations of all items.
- Update computerised records.
- Ensure materials and supplies are issued to the shop floor in a timely manner.
- Work with Production Staff to support the production process and to ensure efficient deliveries to the Customer.

**Essential Experience**:

- Forklift truck operation.
- Organisational skills.
- Use of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.
- Experience in a previous Stores position.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
