Logistics Supervisor

Responsibilities & Key Tasks
- Demonstrate a high level of health and safety following the businesses policies and procedures become a role model
- Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditions
- Monitor stores and warehouse material usage
- Provide assistance in warehouse space utilization by designing potential new layouts to achieve maximum storage efficiency
- Communicate regularly with production
- Work along side Product Support, ensuring ECO's are completed successfully
- Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage
- Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems
- Select, train, motivate, and evaluate team members
- Manage and coordinate the department's staffing, and operational activities for Production and warehouses
- Prepare and present staff reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the department.
- Discover new trends and innovations in the fields of warehousing and storage.
