Laboratory Assistant

**Laboratory Technician**

**Location**:Somercotes, Derbyshire

**Duties**
- Reviewing and sampling products for formal identification of waste material by category.
- Organise incoming waste retains into chemical groups & consolidate for outbound shipment as a waste consignment.
- Ensure safe systems of work, housekeeping and practices are in place during handling & movement of products within the site.
- Administration activities to compile records.

**Skills and Abilities**
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience required either working in a laboratory / within a chemical environment.
- Able to organise work to enable key deadlines and targets to be achieved is essential for this role to complete the defined project.
