Pm Cleaner

To undertake thorough cleaning of areas including reception area, staff canteen and laundry following key inspection points and ensuring customer standards are meet and to comply with all 2SFG H&S requirements.

Hours of work will be 16:00-00:10am.

1. Hygiene Personnel
- To carry out all aspects of hygiene and cleaning within the factory. This will include:

- sanitising of all designated areas
- use of colour-coding processes to clean all areas of the factory
- cleaning floors, stairs & corridors
- using machines to clean floors
- disposing of rubbish and waste
- Report any faults to the Hygiene FLM’s.
- Ensure all cleaning of Food Contact Surfaces are carried out as per your training.
- Ensure you pad all Food Contact Areas nightly.
- Ensure you follow all current work specification procedures.
- Ensure you work to company rules on breaks.
- Liaise with Engineering on any equipment that you may feel is in an unsafe condition or any equipment that have become damaged.
- 1.8. Ensure you follow the company policy on absence levels.

2. Quality
- 2.1. Work with the Technical Department, management and production personnel in a proactive way to minimise quality problems.
- 2.2. Ensure all personnel are aware of quality systems and customer requirements.

3. Health & Safety, COSHH etc.
- 3.1. Ensure staff follow the COSHH, Health & Safety guidelines and accident notification procedures.
- 3.2. Ensure that you only use Steps Ladders which you have checked before use and have a ladder tag attached.
- 3.3. Ensure that you report all accidents to the Hygiene FLM’s and a First Aider.

4. Environmental Management System (EMS)
- 4.1. Maintain personal awareness of the EMS.
- 4.2. Report any chemical spills outside the Factories internal drainage system.

5. Additional Tasks
- 5.1. To ensure you are flexible as there are many different roles within the site.
- 5.2. Be proactive with other departments / reduction of waste and cost from the process.
- 5.3. Perform any reasonable task within the Company or any subsidiary, holding or associated Company.

Actual job requirements evolve within the business and therefore you may be required to carry out tasks other than those specifically included in this document.
