**We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team at St Hughs School, Farrington, SN7**. **Please read on to see details of this position.**
- **Monday to Friday**:

- **37.5 Hours Contract**:

- **£10.50 per hour**:

- **39 Weeks per year**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Basic food preparation**:

- **Food service to students & staff**:

- **Cleaning duties within the kitchen**:

- **Health & safety compliance**:

- **Friendly and polite customer service**

**Previous catering experience**
- **Working within a team**:

- **Food hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)**:

- **Basic knowledge of health and safety practices**

We offer a contemporary high street range of dishes and are continuously looking to adapt our offer to emerging trends and customer tastes. We expect all staff to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/young people. As such permission will be sought to contact referees prior to interview.

The successful applicant will also be required to provide proof of identity and undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post. This includes career history checks with past employers and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
