**Salary**:£30,000 to £33,000 PA
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week). Flexibility is required.
- Please note this role is within a finance team function and will not involve physically counting stock*

Our teams market a wide range of fleet management tools alongside fuel cards such as telematics, insurance, and telecoms to businesses across the UK.

**Role Summary**: We have a brand-new opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our finance team on a full-time permanent basis to support our fuel card division. This role is based in Motherwell. You will help our fuel card operation run smoothly and be responsible for:
- Arranging and tracking stock transfers across our fuel card business
- Reconciling stocks for all fuel card types and networks
- Reconciling invoices for fuel cards
- Reconciling card charges on invoices
- Ensuring correct bandings on remote drawing locations
- Matching off weekly prices to invoices on a daily basis
- Liaise with fuel card director and procurement on queries on invoices or inaccuracies in stock
In this role you will understand the financial impact of stock transactions and help reduce errors and adjustments as necessary.
**Essential Skills**
− Previous experience in stock control is essential; stock control of any fluid (at least 2 years)
− Calm and confident manner
− Analytical with good problem-solving skills. Have the ability to find and resolve a problem
− Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
− PC literate - MS Office, particularly Excel
− Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
**Desirable Skills**
− Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
− Drive, determination and ownership of the role
− Fuel product knowledge would be of benefit but training will be provided
− Knowledge of financial general ledger and purchase ledger
