**Cleaning Operative - Outdoors**

**Location: Teesside Park**

**Hours/Days: 40 hours per week**

**Pay Rate: £10.90 per hour**

**Main Purpose**:
Churchill is looking for hardworking and proactive cleaner to join our team in an outdoor Shopping Park in Teesside Park, Stockton on Tees_._

**Role description**
- Your duties will involve general cleaning of the external shopping park areas and you will be working outside majority of time.
- You will be responsible to maintain clean and safe areas, and tasks involve brushing, litter picking and waste removal.
- You will also carry out general office and welfare areas cleaning.
- You will be mainly working without Supervision therefore must be proactive, with good attention to detail and reliable.
- You will provide customer service to public and support with Fire and Evacuation procedure.
- Radio is used on site throughout the shift.
- Training and full uniform provided. You must have good time keeping, great communication skills and immaculate attendance.

**Person Specification**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced team with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Outstanding communication skills both internal and external.
- The ability to effectively prioritise your workload and build relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail.
- A customer focused approach.
- A proactive/can do attitude to work.
- The ability to work on own initiative and take full ownership of role. The ability to follow process/ Instructions.

**Health & Safety Responsibilities**:

- Always follow Churchill Group company policies and procedures.
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.
