**Playground Games are looking to recruit a highly talented and passionate Vehicle Artist to join our Forza Horizon team on a contract basis.**:
**ABOUT US**:
As a first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about making genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and, most of all, fun.

**SUMMARY**:
You'll be supporting the team in bringing new vehicles to Forza Horizon. You’ll have a portfolio focused on quality 3D vehicle work demonstrating a keen eye for detail.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working as part of a team supporting vehicle content for Forza Horizon 5.
- Deliver work on time to an exceptional standard that is aligned to the artistic vision.
- Identify emerging risks and issues to raise with your Lead/Principal.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Understanding of hard surface modelling, vehicle scale, form, and proportions.
- Solid understanding of modern PBR techniques and methodologies.
- Experience using 3Ds Max or similar 3D packages.
- Excellent 2D texturing skills using Adobe Photoshop and Substance Designer.
- A methodical approach to work and quality.

**DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Possess a 1st Class or 2:1 Honours degree in a relevant artistic degree or relevant experience from a similar industry.
- An up-to-date knowledge of the games industry and wider artistic industry developments.
- A professional work ethic and attitude.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- A passion for vehicles and games.
