Location: Skelmersdale
**Salary**: £40k-50k + Package**
**The Company**:
An exciting opportunity to join a Regional Contractor based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. Our client is a well-established contractor that has over 25 years' experience in delivering Renewables, Energy Efficiency works within the Social Housing sector.
**The Role**
Our client is seeking a Bid Manager to take ownership of the bid proposal process, overseeing the proposal and bid strategies to ensure a cohesive process is followed.
You will also need to provide support and advice, and co-ordinate a wide range of information needed in a PQQ/Tender document, ensuring the contents are accurate and consistently well presented in design and content.
**Duties**:
- Plan and allocate work to manage resources effectively to meet programme demands and deadlines
- Co-ordinate activities with the team such that proposals, pre-qualification and tender support objectives are achieved to cost, quality and time
- Liaise with Wider Business Teams o develop strategy for engagement at account and opportunity level, to support communications and ultimately opportunity conversion
- Management of a comprehensive Bid Library to support all sectors of the business
- Be the main point of contact for bid team members and ensure team members and stakeholders are briefed on development as needed
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Have the ability work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience Liaising with internal and external clients
- Previous construction experience is required
- Must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career on their CV
