**Job description**

BARISTA/FRONT OF HOUSE/GUEST SERVICES FOR THE ANCIENT UNICORN LTD

This is a split role.

We are looking for positive team players who are motivated to excel in their job, quick to learn & have the enthusiasm & personality to provide excellent customer service.

**Barista Requirements & Responsibilities include**:

- Making high quality hot & cold drinks. Ideally trained to Barista level
- Taking customer orders
- Cash handling & operating an EPOS system
- Cleaning & dishwashing
- Working quickly & efficiently

Must be able to drive as this is not an easy location to commute to using public transport.
- Being able to follow set systems & procedures
- Team player
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment

Front of House/Bar Service/Guest Services
- Supporting the smooth running of the guest relations, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level.
- Serving customers behind the bar and restaurant in a timely, professional manner
- Room cleans where required.
- Taking responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner
- Ensuring rooms are ready and prepared for guests ahead of check-in.
- Organising the check-in of guests
- Flexible availability to respond and deal with guest questions/issues
- Assistance with arranging maintenance and repairs to avoid guest complaints
- Ordering and co-ordinating room consumables
- Providing a high standard of customer service and guest experience to ensure a 5* review

**Experience**:
Barista
- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Experience in guest relations beneficial but not essential
- Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality and property industry
- Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
- Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
- Strong communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part Time, Flexibility required
